When will it end!?!?!? Not this week! Join us while we investigate non-musical strings. We make a tin-can phone, talk to Pops, Ainsley & Darby and then call up Nigel, Mista Cookie Jar's friend in Thailand who has a particular stringed thing... but you'll have to guess what it is. Ainsley & her parents go tide-pooling to see if there are any stringy things in the ocean. And shout-out to Bela, who loves Ear Snacks!
We've been home for a couple of weeks and can't wait to hit the road again. We'll be spending nearly a week in Little Rock, Arkansas. Come sing with us at the big show!

You know how we have a podcast? This is the soundtrack.
We can barely describe how excited we are about this album, but here goes! Ear Snacks: Songs from the Podcast (officially releasing on September 30, 2016) is a direct result of the first season of our radical podcast - over seven hours of free content for children and their families. We spent the last year interviewing more than 60 kids and 35 adult experts, crafting original scores and a storm of genre-busting songs. Ear Snacks: Songs from the Podcast features fourteen tunes hand-picked from the radical podcast experiment, re-contextualized into an eclectic, insightful and (we hope) absurdly fun record.
Inside every CD is a 20-page SNACKTIVITY booklet that includes fun ideas for active imaginations. You can pre-order the CD and digital album (including a PDF of the SNACKTIVITY fun) exclusively from our shop. Pre-orders from our store will shop on - OR BEFORE! - September 30. Fans can also pre-order the music on iTunes (no snacktivities, though... just saying!) and receive an immediate download for "Dancing Pants," our summer single featuring Mista Cookie Jar.

Here's that handy iTunes link again: http://bit.ly/dancingpants . Here are the links for Amazon & Google Play. As always, the best way to find out anything we have to say is to sign up for our totally-amazing-wonderful, fairly-sporadic-and-not-too-annoying newsletter.
We were so excited about the opening of the Expo Line Train to Santa Monica (where we live), that we literally BURST INTO SONG. And then made a lil' video featuring all the awesomeness people posted on Instagram using the Repost App. Here's a handy link, if you need it: http://bit.ly/expolinesong
We rode the Expo Line very first thing this morning to our monthly sing-a-long at Children's Book World... and then came back and sang the song on the couch in our studio.
